Iconic Kent

Interesting to see that not one of the National Iconic Buildings is thought to be in Kent.
I am sure that we have some of the best structures in the UK, at least two of which are in Thanet.

My nomination would be South Foreland Lighthouse, with Bleak House a close second.

I'm sure you mean NORTH Foreland Lighthouse! Or is TDC looking to spread it's wings under the East Kent LSP?

As a councillor its a known fact that I do not know my North from my South. However, In my defence I would say that they are both white and lighthouses! And to be fair to Dover, theirs is as good as ours, and higher.

Also They are both iconic. Although, Dovers is now out of use.

Unfortunately most of our best stuff has been burnt down or left to rot.
