How to get free prescriptions

Did I hear Mr Brown right,? If you want free prescriptions you have to smoke a lot and get cancer? I would have thought it would be easier and less life threatening to move to wales?

My daughter with breast cancer has never smoked and I am sure a lot of other people needing medicine for long term illnesses did not become ill through choice.

Not trying to upset you or your daughter, but, why, if you live in Wales will you get free prescriptions? in England you pay , 'unless', sorry to my mind that is unfair and wrong

Good job your daughter does not live in the USA where the tax payer won't pay for health.

Nice attempt to side step your rather ill-chosen post and crassly insensitive post, Ken. I would simply delete it if I were you. Perhaps unintentionally - who knows? - you are making light of those who are suffering from cancer. Whatever the cause - and I have lost two close relatives to it - it does not deserve your cheap political point-scoring.

Prescription charges are a very debated subject.

I did some rambles on them back in August as Scotlands price is different to ours!

You can view my ramble about prescriptions at the following link

In Ireland where the anonymous (she thinks)person comes from they have no NHS. I won't buy into an emotional guilt trip, as no one has the monopoly on pain. Nobody has made you join the discussion. NO DICE!
