More Roadworks in St Peters
Just to let all the residents know, there will be some more road 'improvements ' in the 'Trees' estate during the next three weeks. No serious details yet, but I will update.

That's old news, Councillor, and, more importantly, totally unnecessary. There are many more roads needing the Kent Highways treatment than the Wimpey.
Ken, could I refer you to Thanet Strife of 3 weeks ago and an item on 10th March about the re-surfacing to take place on your 'patch'.
It was contained in a Public Notice issued by KCC Highway Services in early March that was sent to Cllrs and the press.
As you may have mis-laid that document I am happy to help you keep your ward constituents informed, if rather belatedly:
Carriageway surfacing works will occur between 30 Mar and Apr 17 and designated street signage will advise house-holders of the day each street will be closed in advance.
Street closures for one day for resurfacing between 30 Mar and 17 April will happen on the following roads: The Silvers, The Maples, Beech Drive,Chestnut Drive, Willow Avenue, The Pines, Yew Tree Close, Birch Close, Larch Close, Pear Tree Close, The Hawthorns, Almond Close, Holly Close and Cherry Gardens. Diversion routes will be signed where necessary.
I am pleased to be able to assist you keeping your constituents informed.
Bertie, many thanks, but I do not often Trawl through your blog site, no oofence intended, but my time at the computer is somewhat limited due to there only being 24 hrs in one day. Hence when I get an email from Highways telling me of roadworks I try to pass it on straight away
I realise that you are easily confused, Councillor Gregory, but you do need to try to stop the "edge" coming across in your responses to those who do not toady to you or your views.
Mind you, that will keep you busy, as it seems that the majority of people who comment on your site oppose or criticise you...which is often when you introduce comment moderation.
Good question, Anon 00.51, but doesn't the answer lie in the number of Tories who have found themselves on the wrong side of the Law and ended up doing time?
Does this also explain the reasons for someone wishing to keep their past secret, suddenly having a polital epiphany and jumping ship to join a different party!
What they don't realise is that Thanet is a village, and there is always someone who knows what they have done!!

Can you comment on the fact that the Labour party require their Councillors to undertake police CRB checks, but the Tory party does not?

Did you get an e-mail from Highways telling you about the St. Peter's village roadworks or did you just forget to pass that one on?
