Fuel Crisis?
The refinery strike in Scotland is threatening our fuel supplies (source. the times ) . Is this a plot by the Scots to ruin our economy? (along with Gordon the clunking fist)

Brown flies out (incogneto)
Our Prime Minister flew to America yesterday aboard a charter aircraft that seemed to be regaled in the stars of the EU.
Should we give our 'elected' leader a form of transport that indicates and advertises that he comes from the UK, or let him/her fly anonymously.

Iconic Kent
Interesting to see that not one of the National Iconic Buildings is thought to be in Kent.
I am sure that we have some of the best structures in the UK, at least two of which are in Thanet.
My nomination would be South Foreland Lighthouse, with Bleak House a close second.

School Sickness?
My Grandaughter attends a primary school in Thanet, it has a 'role' of just over 100. I am told that just over a third of the children are 'off' with a sickness bug. It lasts for up to a week.
If this were a hospital there would be national headlines, why not with a school?
