School Sickness?

My Grandaughter attends a primary school in Thanet, it has a 'role' of just over 100. I am told that just over a third of the children are 'off' with a sickness bug. It lasts for up to a week.

If this were a hospital there would be national headlines, why not with a school?

Update,

Now it is reported that 44 are off with the vomiting.

Because the media hysteria that attends on anything they think will sell newspapers has fortunately not yet spread to bugs in schools that have always happened, always will, and are not worthy of publicity.
