Brown a 'Plonker' ?

I see some folk have 'had a go' because I called a certain Prime minister a 'Plonker'. Well lets look at the facts, 2 million + unemployed, the pound trading at about 1 euro, Banks going to the wall, and those who saved hard for their old age getting returns on their savings of less than 1%.(less tax). Sorry, but that equates to a 'Plonker' in my view. (please bear in mind I do have a political aspect to my life). If Mr Brown had not been chancellor for all those years I might well have been a little less harsh, but not so. (oh yes , I forgot to mention 'our troops' being killed in Iraq)

I wonder, do you believe Thatcher was a plonker, because troops were killed in The Falklands? Of course it may depend on your political leanings at the time...before your change...

Now, Councillor, only one person challenged you over your rather silly name-calling, wheras several have commented on your discredited local leader, and challenged you to put the people of Thanet before your (Tory) Party and self-interest - and comment.

Yet you choose to make a further splash around the first "story". You are a one!

Over on the other local Tory propaganda site - the besieged (last year) Thanet Life - your colleague is attacking Labour's Councillor Nottingham again - for sharing the majority public view that your local leader is a joke and has tarnished Thanet's standing and reputation.

Funny how you Tories condemn the antics of local youths who threaten, swear, and behave thuggishly - I believe scroat is one of the terms the likes of Councillor Moores has used - yet when evidenced in your leadership's behaviour, you all turn a blind eye, and lambast those who continue to reference it.

Ken, you remind me so much of Jilted John the seventies punk rocker who as the name suggests was jilted by his girlfreind Julie. He wrote a song slating someone called Gordon who he accused of nicking his girlfriend.

His record didn't have much impact either.

Tony, 'Jilted John' called Gordon a Moron, Perish the thought.

The Falklands is and was a British Protectorate. Our responsibility. Iraq was an independant state. Not our responsibility.

And shooting people in the back - Belgrano (Falklands) - unquestionably appeals to Tory mentality and morality.

Interesting that 21:31 has made such a big issue of the tory leader's antics, when the rumour mill is that their own former mayor of Margate was alleged to have repeatedly harassed and bullied Ezekiel's wife prior to the mayors ball incident. To the point where the other councillors from Margate had to make an apology before her union took it further. So I think any future reference to the leader's behaviour should be accompanied by a health warning on double standards, bullying and harassment from a labour margate councillor and failure by the others to make him resign. Just when are the tories going to publish this? They seem to be as weak on this as they are on policy at the moment.

Aaaaaaaagggggghhhhhhh!

So which side do you bat for Gregory? Labour, Tory, or whoever is in power at the time?

Well, put, Anon 23.55!

Strange silence on the mayor. Do we take it that the rumours are true and there is nothing for the Labour bloggers to say.

Enough said. What complete hypocrisy.

Rick, Rocky, or whom so ever you are today, I have read your comments before, all of them, and would say you are getting close to becoming a real 'ear ache'. Your comments relating to Cllr Hayton are accurate in that they quote your actions, and in one case your personal view, however they are not the views of myself. As such I was about to delete your comments, but as I know Bill Hayton to be a patriot and a man of honesty I have only to say that others will probably judge you on your comments rather than Bill Hayton.

I have just been directed to a site called 'Thanet Strife', where someone called 'Bertie Biggles' acuses me of leaving a post up that accuses a councillor of 'Treason'. Well I am sorry to say its me who will take a post down, not anyone else. In this particular incident I will certainly take the post down id the Councillor named asks, I have had no such request yet. Mr w-Biggles can shout all he or she likes, but it is not within their fifedom to dictate what others say.I may not agree with others views, but their right to comment I will defend.

Oh Ken, you are silly. "I have just been directed to a site called "Thanet Strife" where someone called Bertie Biggles..."

You have "Bertie Biggles" listed under "other sites" on your sidebar, and have had for some time.

What a plonker.

0848,
Bertie is on my side bar as a way of ensuring a balanced debate for posters, much as David Green used to be. It does not mean I visit those sites on a regular basis, I do not have the time. On this occasion someone rang me to suggest i had a look.

Ok Rick/Rocky/whoever, You are History until you can stop boring us all. Keep it short and you will be back on.

Ken,I take it you bought the record.

Tony my friend, no, because I only listened to the 'song' on that new fangled 'wireless' thingy. (and I had a friend called Gordon, though he is sadly deceased now,)

Wow, that's crazy man. They should really try to do something to fix that.
