SOUTH EAST TRAINS?

They may train, when will they learn?

Catching the 1903 from Victoria yesterday was , on a scale of 1 to 10, -3...... Dirty, overcrowded, no disabled toilets and only 2 ordinary ones!. And they were FILTHY.

It saddens me that we spend loads of your money on promoting Thanet, only to find our principle public transport system in such a sad state

Having worked on the railway both on the trains and as a manager at Victoria the main reason for dirty trains is there is no time at journeys end to clean the train, mostly they are in and out in about 8 or 9 minutes and that is also why you get delays in the running, none of the rail companies have spare stock so from about early morning until late at night the Ramsgate to Victoria service will be served by about 4 to 6 trains

It's not unusual to have no toilet at all traveling from Thanet to London until the train links up in Faversham. They get locked at Ramsgate by exasperated cleaners or conducters who cant fix or clean them before the next journey. Really, not good enough.

Do you not use public transport so much? Not only are our trains fairly poor (if not usually crowded) but our buses are nothing to write home about.

I see that loads of our money is being spent. Unfortunately I am yet to see any of it being spent on promoting Thanet.
